What is RBE?

It is this type of education that requires students to carry out supervised research work and activities throughout their time at university, in addition to classroom learning. RBE equips master’s students with capabilities to propose effective and practical solutions for problems identified in various fields and industries. It is different from skill training.

The Guidelines for Introducing Research Based Education (RBE) into the Master’s Program under SUPREM-HCMUT (Preliminary Version, February 2011) and updated version (January 2012) include various sample cases and tools used for promoting RBE. It is useful for those who are interested in RBE but hesitating to start it.
